Megan Tommet

Megan Tommet, DVM, is an Emergency Veterinarian at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson

Dr. Tommet truly enjoys Arizona living and has acclimated well to our warm weather here in Tucson, having grown up in Southern Wisconsin.

She takes advantage of our sunny days by going hiking with her fiancé and her five dogs Morgan, Cricket, Lady Bug, Max and Levi. Although living here now, Dr. Tommet still enjoys rooting on her Green Bay Packers and traveling.

Prior to pursuing her career in Veterinary medicine, Dr. Tommet raised and showed Quarter horses. She also worked as a receptionist and technician at a small animal clinic in Whitewater, WI which helped solidify her decision on her career path.

Also aiding in that decision was her time spent serving on SIRVS, which is a service that helps provide free Veterinary Care to low service communities.

After completing her internship with us last year, Dr. Tommet really found her niche in our Emergency Department, and we are extremely excited to have her be a part of our Emergency team!
