Dr. Connie Cannady

Dr. Connie Cannady, DVM, is an Urgent Care Veterinarian and the Medical Director at Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson.

Dr. Connie Cannady grew up in Wisconsin always loving animals. She attended UW-River Falls for pre-veterinary studies and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. Dr. Cannady has been in small animal practice off and on since then in NC and Idaho. Her special interests are feline medicine, dermatology and geriatrics.

Dr. Cannady and her husband, 3 cats and 1 Carolina Plott Hound relocated to sunny Tucson in April from Boise, Idaho where she was working at the Idaho Humane Society's public clinic. She is very excited to be the Urgent Care provider at VSCOT.

In her spare time, Dr. Cannady enjoys reading, gardening, travel, food and hanging out with her 2 adult children, when she gets the chance to visit them. Her son lives in Alabama and her daughter is in the Army currently stationed in Germany.
