Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson in Tucson, AZ has an amazing opportunity for an ER Veterinarian to join our team! Our emergency and specialty hospital consists of hugely supportive and collaborative specialists in surgery, emergency/critical care, and radiology in an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Our ER Veterinarians can expect the following:
- Very competitive straight salary or pro-sal pay structures with a base salary of $200,000
- Signing and relocation bonuses
- Schedule of 3 or 4 days per week

Our 32,000 sq. ft. hospital features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms, 4 surgical and 1 dental suite, video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cages, separate dog and cat treatment rooms, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab with associated Antech reference lab on location, spiral CT scanner, MRI, I-131, and digital radiography.

Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Cardiologist (DACVIM Cardiology) to join our team. As this would be a new service to this hospital and the only cardiology service in Tucson, this individual would have major input regarding equipment purchasing and development of the service with copious amounts of support from the hospital leadership. Cardiology is a highly sought after specialty in this area as there is an incredibly high need and demand for it.
VSCOT is a busy Emergency and Specialty hospital which consists of specialists in surgery, emergency and critical care, dermatology, and radiology in an award-winning, state-of-the-art facility. Our specialists and emergency doctors take a “one hospital” approach together with our experienced administrative and technical staff to provide the highest quality compassionate health care and service to our patients, pet owners, and referring veterinarians.
Our 32,000 sq. ft. hospital features the following:
- A separate emergency entrance and lobby
- 16 exam rooms
- 4 surgical suites
- Video-endoscopy

Our compensation package includes starting base salaries between $250,000 - $300,000 with generous sign-on and relocation bonuses available. Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson is looking for a second board certified or residency trained Criticalist (DACVECC) to join our team with a starting salary between $250,000 - 325,000. We desire a skilled, compassionate, confident Criticalist who enjoys creating a true relationship with clients, patients, and referring DVMs; who also works well in a team environment. This candidate would, ideally, also enjoy teaching as we are looking to work with local veterinary students on external rotations.

Our 46 cage ICU/ER features 15 ICU cages directly in ICU, as well as separate wards for small breed dogs, large dog runs, and cats, while keeping them all visible behind glass. This unique arrangement affords our feline patients the quiet environment they need and allows loud or infectious patients to be isolated. Our critical patients and oxygen cage are housed at the front of our ICU. We also have a fully stocked separate isolation ward as well as a step-down ward for less critical patients. Our emergency staff consists of highly skilled and trained, reliable certified veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants who are committed to supporting our doctors.

VSCOT is a busy multi-Specialty hospital in an award-winning, 32,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with collaborative specialists in radiology, surgery, dermatology, and emergency/critical care.
Our hospital features separate specialty and emergency entrances and lobbies, 16 exam rooms, 96 kennels, 4 surgical suites, and 1 dental suite. We are fully equipped with video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cage, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner, brand new 1.5 tesla Hallmarq Petvet MRI, and digital radiography, Iodine 131, Force Triad/LigaSure with numerous hand pieces, full complement of stapling equipment, Stryker arthroscopy/laparoscopy tower, CO2 laser, operating microscope, and neurosurgical equipment.

Our hospital features a separate emergency entrance and lobby, 16 exam rooms and 4 surgical suites. We are fully equipped with video-endoscopy, mobile and stationary color-flow Doppler ultrasounds, a large central ICU with oxygen cage, Pulmonetics ventilator, Telemetry, portable ultrasound unit, in-house lab, spiral CT scanner (Toshiba 16 slice), 1.5 tesla Hallmarq Petvet MRI, and digital radiography, Iodine 131, Force Triad/LigaSure with numerous hand pieces, full complement of stapling equipment, Stryker arthroscopy/laparoscopy tower, Kyon and Biomedtrix total hip equipment, Synthes & Arthrex TPLO, Synthes LCP plating equipment (1.5 to 3.5), CO2 laser, operating microscope, and neurosurgical equipment.
